Although developing a six pack may seem like it’s all about fitness-training and building muscles, diet is a big part of the equation too. If you want to get rock hard abs, you must change your diet. Protein

Proteins are the building blocks of the body. This is the food that will help to grow your muscles, literary. Vegetables are healthy and contain lots of nutrients that will make your body stronger. They also contain very few calories and that comes in very handy when you’re trying to lose fat. The more vegetables you eat, the less junk you’ll end up eating so start stacking those veges.

Fruits

Fruits are another must-have if you want to have a six pack. Fruits are not only delicious, they are also loaded with vitamins which help to fight diseases. They are also loaded with water which helps to keep you hydrated. Most fruits also contain fat-burning components which will indirectly help you achieve your six pack goals sooner than later. A good example of such a fruit is the avocado.

Whole grains

Whole grains are great too. Start eating as many of these as you can. Whole grains contain very little fat and are not loaded with too many calories. There is a very long list of whole grains. In fact, there are so many whole grains that you cannot exhaust them all. Examples include corn, beans, peas, black-eyed peas, bread, pasta, etc.

Nuts

Last, but not least, eat nuts as well. Nuts are loaded with protein, and as explained earlier, that is great for your body at this time. Some of the nuts you can include in your diet include peanuts, cashew nuts, almonds, etc. Nuts also have low-fat levels and contain starch which will help increase your stamina in the gym.
